Color sensors are commonly preferred in the printing industry to track various shades of lines printed near the edges of materials. These sensors are two-positioned: the first position is for the material’s base color, and the second is selected as the color to be tracked. By recognizing and memorizing colors, the sensor sends the necessary voltage information to the web guiding controller to fix the optical light intensity region it emits onto the color edge it tracks, ensuring the material stays on the same line.
ECS-CLR Web Guiding Sensors
Color sensors in printing track line shades near edges, ensuring material alignment by sending data to the web guiding controller.
