Designed for mutual communication-based position determination, the CNS-US Ultrasonic Sensor utilizes mutually interacting high-frequency piezo sensors to create an acoustic curtain between them. The voltage difference between the outermost points of this curtain is set to 0-5 or 0-10 volts. When the material we want to monitor interrupts this acoustic curtain, halving the voltage, we receive confirmation from the sensor that it is precisely positioned at the desired origin. If the voltage is not halved, the WGD web guiding device commands the web guiding mechanism to adjust until the voltage is halved.
CNS-US Web Guiding Sensors
The CNS-US Ultrasonic Sensor utilizes an acoustic curtain interrupted by the material to precisely determine its position, operating within a voltage difference of 0-5 or 0-10 volts.
