CNS-OP Web Guiding Sensors

Tailored for precise material alignment, the CNS-OP Infrared Optical Sensor employs fiber optic infrared sensors to establish an infrared light curtain.

Designed for mutual communication-based position determination, the CNS-OP Infrared Optical Sensor utilizes mutually interacting fiber optic infrared sensors to create an infrared light curtain. The voltage difference between the outermost points of this curtain is set to 0-5 or 0-10 volts. When the material we want to monitor interrupts this light curtain, halving the voltage, we receive confirmation from the sensor that it is precisely positioned at the desired origin. If the voltage is not halved, the WGD web guiding device commands the web guiding mechanism to adjust until the voltage is halved.
